[ShopeePay Merchant] What is MDR?

MDR (Merchant discount rate) is a rate at which ShopeePay charges merchants. This fee is deducted from merchants' sales
A 1% MDR rate is applicable for all ShopeePay Merchants.
An example of the calculation is shown below:
Merchant Type | Category | MDR (%) |
Regular | Normal | 1% |
Total Sales per Day | 10,000 |
MDR (1%) | .(100) |
Total to be paid to merchant | 9,900 |
⚠️ Note:
MDR will not be charged for refunded transactions.
